“Di cosa è fatto un teatro”

Dal 23 al 26 ottobre in provincia di Bologna nella valle del Samoggia e precisamente nei comuni di Bazzano, Castello di Serravalle e Monteveglio daremo vita alla quarta edizione di A TEATRO NELLE CASE Festival d’autunno.
“Di cosa è fatto un teatro”, dove sono le sue radici, qual’è la sua anima, la sua essenza, dove sta la forza originaria e necessaria dell’evento teatrale. Sono queste le domande che vogliamo condividere con gli spettatori, gli artisti e gli studiosi presenti al festival.
Nelle case della valle del Samoggia saranno ospitati: Laura Curino con “Olivetti”, Marco Baliani con “Tracce”, Davide Enia con “Schegge”, Arianna Scommegna con “La Molli”, Enrique Vargas con “Sancocho de cola” e Alekos con "Mis desvelos de amor"
Il Festival aprirà giovedì 23 alle ore 20 al Deposito Attrezzi (la nostra sede a Castello di Serravalle) con “Di cosa è fatto un teatro” una serata di festa con il Teatro delle Ariette. La serata si svolgerà attorno a un grande tavolo e prevede, oltre alla cena, la presentazione del libro “Teatro da mangiare?” a cura di Massimo Marino sul nostro omonimo e fortunato spettacolo, il video “EIZEL di cosa è fatto un teatro” di Stefano Massari su un anno di vita, di lavoro e di tournée con le Ariette, gli ingredienti del forum on line "La rete degli sguardi" a cura di Carlo Infante e l'intervento musicale di CERAMICHELINEARI + COMPAGNIADELLAFORTEZZA.
Sabato 25 ottobre ore 15 sempre al Deposito Attrezzi “LE RADICI DI UN’ IDEA di cosa è fatto il mio teatro” conversazione con gli artisti presenti al festival e Gerardo Guccini, Massimo Marino, Renata Molinari, Carlo Infante. Coordina Cristina Valenti.

Tempi atroci in cui la morte cadeva inattesa dall'alto o dal basso dei mercati neri che stritolavano con prezzi schizzati alle stelle. Erano tempi malati e bugiardi, tempi cinici e bari. Assomigliano a oggi.

la mia idea di teatro è radicata nel desiderio d alterità:
essere altrove, fuori di me.
Corrisponde ad una ricerca interna che solleciti il nomadismo psichico e
allo stesso tempo
ad una ricerca di condivisione che crei spazio pubblico x tutto questo.

...non so neanche bene dire perchè ma nel leggere la prima suggestione di Carlo mi è tornato in mente l'insostenibile leggerezza dell'essere...
Quali sono oggi i codici tribali sconosciuti all'altro, che vanno portati nel catino del teatro perchè vengano confusi e interpretati insieme agli altri codici? Cosa ci stiamo dicendo?
Il teatro dovrebbe aiutarci a capire cosa stiamo cercando di dirci... perchè stiamo cercando di dirci qualcosa... è sempre così... solo che spesso non ci si riesce... e allora è come se alla stilografica della collettiva narrazione storica finisse la cartuccia...

che sia fatto da quel bambino che è in noi
e che molti hanno perso x strada?

stamattina a colazione parlando con Enrique Vargas
è emersa parlando e sorseggiando l'immagine di quel bambino che sulla cordigliera delle Ande giocava nascondensi nelle piante del caffè
stanze verdi contenute nella grande casa
verde della foresta pluviale

e ho rivissuto quei giochi del nascondino
che rilasciano brividi alle surrenali
che fanno venire paura e godimento

e ho rivissuto quell'esperienza di spettatore solitario
nel suo evento-installazione
"oracoli" che ho fatto
(visto... ma come ci siamo detti con stefano pasquini...
prima... mentre pulivamo i funghi... armillaria mellea... l'ho trovati davanti casa... e li mangeremo a pranzo...
quel vedere e un fare esperienza!)

proprio ieri, riflettendo sul libro curato da massimo marino
m'è risalita in me un'esperienza fatta in occasione del Festival Primavera dei Teatri di Castrovillari nel 2001

era un progetto di diario di bordo on line

Il corpo travagliato

È straordinario quanto possano essere vicini e intimi per una giovane donna-mamma il teatro e il parto. Io ho compiuto un miracolo all’età di 19 anni. Al mio primo esame all’Università (DAMS) la gravidanza era giunta già al settimo mese e mi ero da poco accostata più da vicino al teatro. È vero, il modo di guardare e vivere il teatro è condizionato dalla propria vita, dalle proprie esperienze, dal proprio "punto di vista"! Di fronte ad uno spettacolo la mia attenzione è catturata in modo particolare dalle dinamiche dei corpi, dal gioco di energie, dal rapporto con lo spazio.
Sono convinta che per me e su di me avere vissuto un’esperienza miracolosa, quale quella di diventare mamma, è stata di fondamentale importanza. Per nove mesi ho assistito ad un continuo e "crescente" cambiamento fisico; sentivo dentro di me muoversi e vivere un altro essere, come un mio strano prolungamento; vedevo la mia pancia deformarsi ad ogni calcio o ad ogni stiracchiamento del mio prolungamento e, cosa più interessante, per le quasi 12 ore di travaglio, ho acquisito un modo diverso di vivere il mio corpo, ma anche quello di osservare il corpo e l’energia degli altri, dell’attore, e di quanto e come la presenza di un’altra persona possa giungere a me. Insomma credo che il disagio e il dolore (intendetemi sui termini) siano indispensabili per l’arte scenica. Decroux diceva che "le mime est à l’aise dans le mal-aise". Ha ragione ed io penso che il mio prolungamento abbia contribuito a rendermelo più chiaro. (paola)

Il teatro è opera d’arte?

Un’opera d’arte trova la sua forza nell’incontro con l’altro, con il suo fruitore, anche se solo uno. Alla maniera di una pittura o di una scultura la performance teatrale, in quanto espressione viva dell’arte, suo prodotto fisico e concreto, esige l’incontro con l’altro, necessita della presenza attiva del suo spettatore. Il teatro, dunque, è un’opera d’arte che si offre allo spettatore e che è preziosa perché vive del momento ed esiste nel momento in cui si manifesta. È come se ci trovassimo di fronte ad un banchetto, dove il "TEATRO"prepara e serve le sue pietanze ai convitati (gli spettatori), i quali a loro volta devono sapere mangiare. Se si verifica quest’incontro si può giungere al "rasa", al piacere assoluto. Analogia molto simpatica, ma non è mia , appartiene a R. Schechner. Ad ogni modo la bellezza del teatro credo che sia anche il bisogno urgente e vitale che si verifica tra i due poli ( attore-spettatore), mantenendo ferme le sue caratteristiche di opera d’arte, diversa dalle altre, ma pur sempre opera d’arte. I punti oscuri della mia mente

In effetti non ci ho mai pensato. Possibile? Eppure mi piace molto andare a teatro. Mi piace anche cercare nuove forme di teatro da vedere, magari anche da studiare.
Il teatro è pieno di rimandi psico-analitici sull’animo e sulla natura umana ed io ne sono molto affascinata. Forse se non avessi studiato giurisprudenza avrei studiato psicologia.
Non so cosa mi aspetto, se scoprire nuove emozioni, o capire dei punti oscuri delle mia mente, o se ricercare un momento di puro e semplice divertimento e quindi quasi un momento ludico. Il teatro ti permette di fare tutto, è finzione sì, ma rappresentativa di momenti molto reali e allora mi soffermo e penso. Io penso molto, ieri parlavamo di Sinapsi, un termine nuovo per me, invece è un fenomeno quotidiano per la mia persona.
E poi penso che questa domanda sia limitativa e vincolante rispetto alle emozioni che può suscitare un spettacolo considerato bello. Ho voglia di conoscere tante cose, dalla letteratura alla storia, dall’introspezione alla psicologia, dall’arte figurativa a quella multimediale ecc.,… magari attraverso uno spettacolo ci riesco. Per come credo che sia la mia natura è un mezzo logico più che analogico e mi aiuta e mi rende più facile conoscere quello che mi interessa.
Mi aspetto tutto e non mi aspetto niente, perché anche non aspettarsi nulla può essere bello, ma limitarsi a godere di una bella immagine o di una musica o di …. (francesca)

I frutti da godere

La mia opinione a proposito è alquanto negativa, poiché per colpa della scorsa stagione teatrale tenutasi nel complesso di locali che momentaneamente ci ospitano, ovvero, il Protoconvento Francescano, ed esattamente, negli ambienti del Teatro Sybaris, molti weekend che avrei potuto trascorrere assieme alla mia dolce metà, sono saltati.
Non nego, comunque, che ho potuto cogliere un lato positivo da tutta la faccenda poiché ad alcune delle rappresentazioni teatrali ho assistito personalmente. Gli spettacoli a cui ho assistito non sono certo stati tutti di mio gradimento.
Le rappresentazioni di cui sopra ho detto sono state le prime a cui ho assistito. Detto questo le mie parole suoneranno come quelle di un profano rispetto a quelle di un critico teatrale o di chi magari è più avvezzo a questo ambiente.
Secondo me il punto della questione "cosa mi aspetto dal teatro" è fortemente collegato con la mia personale impressione e, soprattutto con la mia personale esperienza. Dico questo perché penso che molte persone non conoscono il teatro, o meglio, il "mondo del teatro" è distante dal mondo esterno, non per ciò che riguarda i suoi contenuti o le sue ispirazioni, ma per il contatto con la persona in quanto tale. Con questo termine intendo riferirmi alla persona qualunque: al padre di famiglia, al fruttivendolo, allo studente di qualsiasi grado e livello, all’impiegato comunale, ecc.
Sembrerebbe che il "mondo del teatro", costituisca un ambiente d’èlite, che si ispira alla vita reale di tutti i giorni, ma che in realtà è posto a distanze chilometriche dalla stessa.
Io non rimprovero per questo né il teatro né tanto meno chi è e chi fa teatro, penso solo che sarebbe simpatico se la musa ispiratrice del "mondo del teatro" potesse goderne assieme i frutti. (cristina)

Il silenzio svelato

Perline colorate, menzogna e verità, odio, emozioni continue, allegria e paura di vivere, la possibilità di vedere riflesse sul palcoscenico le emozioni della vita di tutti i giorni, la fabula e l’intreccio possono appassionare terribilmente, la vita quotidiana non filtrata attraverso i canali mediatici, l’illusione che nulla si spegne e continua a brillare anche dopo la chiusura delle luci del palcoscenico. L’uso della fantasia per poter raccontare azioni normali, apparentemente banali, ma cariche di un’energia, non importa se positiva o negativa, questo dipende dallo strato culturale del periodo storico in cui si vive, che non deve apparire per nascondere i propri difetti. Attori che si travestono, si mascherano o indossano semplicemente costumi o abiti, capaci di far riflettere, di fermare la globalizzazione e l’omologazione culturale che avanzano dirompenti verso la nuova serie della vita ripresa in diretta dalle telecamere, in una casa chiusa ad ogni contatto con l’esterno. Essere vicini all’avvenimento, al potere osservare lo spettacolo da un distanza di alcuni metri a secondo del posto prenotato e poi discuterne con gli altri, scambiarsi impressioni, adulare o criticare, essere presenti senza dover cedere il posto ad altri. In questo modo la parola non diventa inutile, vuota ma si carica sempre di nuovi significati e la capacità di raccontare ha il sopravvento sulla monotonia del pensiero, il silenzio ha un significato misterioso, pronto ad essere svelato per divenire patrimonio comune di tutti. Come possono pensare che il teatro sia una noia mortale?

Sono un quattordicenne e fino a poco tempo fa per me il teatro era: attori, palcoscenici, copioni e quantaltro. Ma cos'è ‚ veramente il teatro?
Forse a causa della mia età non riesco molto bene a capire il significato della rappresentazione ma se mi venissero poste domande come: cosa ‚ per te, è il teatro o prova ad individuare quando il teatro è riuscito a schiacciare il bottone d'avvio dentro di te… io risponderei: il teatro non è altro che un mezzo di comunicazione che emette messaggi nascosti e che comunica valori.
In me particolarmente quel messaggio è arrivato all’età di 12 anni vedendo il Nabucco.
Potrebbe sembrare un po’ strano in un ragazzino di 12 anni eppure ècosi.
A volte mi sento escluso dal gruppetto di amici che mi sono creato perché non riesco a capire come i miei amici possano pensare che il teatro sia una" noia mortale". (Giovanni)

Il viaggio della mente tra rovi e viottoli

Mi vengono in mente i cigolanti carri di Tespi che portavano i teatranti nei villaggi più sperduti; e varie frattaglie letterarie, tra cui il vasto stanzone , con le scene ormai a brandelli, dove la baronessa Rubiera di verghiana memoria provvedeva ai lavori agricoli dei poveracci a lei sottoposti. Il teatro come rivendicazione sociale per coloro che non essendo nobili o notabili e non potendo assolutamente diventarlo dato l’epoca, vedevano "gli altri andare a teatro" come ennesima eccentricità. Situazioni e ambienti molto lontani dalle abitudini, per es., dei veneziani.
Ma che cos’è, adesso, per me, il teatro? E’ un viaggio della mente verso luoghi inesplorati, vasti come enormi sale dalle pareti che scorrono all’infinito le une sulle altre, mostrando, in variopinti meandri, percorsi già esplorati eppure ancora poco noti nelle loro mille improvvise sfaccettature. Sentieri che si aprono improvvisi tra i rovi, viottoli che serpeggiano tra i campi, sul consueto divenuto lontano e portato sotto i miei occhi. L’irrazionale che si trasforma, si conforma a criteri estemporanei di quotidianità. E’ il paradosso racchiuso nell’esistenza, il pulviscolo dorato che accende gli attimi. E’ il viaggio per volare. Lo sguardo che penetra il riflesso. Un dialogo

Terry 70: Qual’è secondo te il punto di vista dello spettatore teatrale?.
Ermes: Bella domanda. Uno specchio che riflette la tua immagine. Ti rimbalza dentro.
Terry 70: Il teatro è quindi uno specchio?
Ermes: In uno specchio vedi la tua immagine riflessa. Il tuo corpo che si muove. Lo sguardo che penetra il tuo riflesso.
Terry 70: Andare al teatro è quindi come guardarsi allo specchio?
Ermes: Ancor di più. Il teatro, quindi gli attori, i corpi che si muovono liberamente nello spazio, la musica o il silenzio, se visti da una giusta prospettiva sono lo specchio del tuo interno.
Terry 70: E qual’è la giusta prospettiva?
Ermes: Lo spettatore può diventare attore (inteso come parte attiva) solo se riesce a far respirare al suo interno le emozioni che si intersecano sulla scena.
Terry 70: Non riesco a capire. Cosa c’entra lo specchio, la prospettiva,
Ermes: Adesso devo andare. Te lo spiego domani. (poldo)

L’energia che si sprigiona dal teatro

Sul palcoscenico s’intrecciano le esperienze artistiche e quelle vissute degli attori, le emozioni che trasmettono risuonano nel buio della sala. Emozioni, la ricerca di quel qualcosa capace di smuovere il proprio animo, dal momento in cui si apre il sipario fino all’epilogo, qualunque esso sia. Una catarsi totale, un’immersione partecipe nel recitato, nella mimica degli attori, affascinati dai costumi, dalle musiche, dal gioco delle luci. Nel teatro non bisogna cercare una definizione, non bisogna incastonarlo in un confine ben definito, che sia commedia dell’arte o tragedia, teatro sperimentale o di ricerca, che sia popolare o colto, ma bisogna un po’ abbandonarsi, lasciarsi trasportare, liberarsi dai condizionamenti quotidiani e vivere le emozioni per quello che succede, realmente, davanti ai propri occhi, solo in questo modo si possono cogliere, almeno in parte, la bellezza e l’affascinante energia che si sprigionano dall’arte teatrale. Mandrie di cavalli selvaggi, eserciti pronti alla guerra, uomini e donne spinti dall’amore, dall’odio scorrono e balenano davanti a me, li vedo, li sento, eppure tutto questo è frutto della narrazione e della magia di un solo attore, seduto su una sedia, capace di incantarmi ed emozionarmi, che mi spinge con forza a ritornare nel buio della sala. La saggezza del mondo nelle viscere

L’idea di teatro? Penso a carne viva che aderisce alla vita e non importa quanto la carne, senza la protezione della pelle, possa bruciare. Il desiderio di esperienza è più forte di ogni inutile protezione. Non conosco il senso del teatro dal suo nascere o meglio ho volutamente dimenticato teorie.So come mi sento quando vedo uno spettacolo che prende il mio stomaco. Emerge da dentro una forza, un mistero, una comprensione del mondo che fa venir voglio di "provarlo" fino in fondo il mio tempo. Far emergere da se la potenza di se, è questo che il teatro mi succhia fuori. Guardando i sensi degli altri, scopro i mie più profondi pensieri, quelli che non avevo avuto il tempo di riordinare, quelli che mi riconducono al mio più antico individuo. Antico individuo? Non conoscevo questo termine ma sento essere quella parte di me più saggia e più capace di comprendere, partecipando. Teatro per me? Partecipazione non filtrata. Dentro il mio corpo l’adesione avviene oppure no, ma non la decido, la vivo. Comprendo di pancia è come se le mie viscere avessero in se la saggezza del mondo. E’ così che mi sento quando vedo "teatro" (ovviamente non per tutto ciò che vedo a teatro) quando il miracolo avviene capisco perché ho continuato a cercare in quel luogo pur a volte delusa, arrabbiata, nauseata. Divento parte di tutto. Attraverso l’agire di altri mi svelo a me stessa.
Riconosco il limite l’arte non è soggettiva o almeno non così dichiaratamente, ma che sia proprio questo il mio miracolo a teatro? L’oggettivazione del soggettivo che non si perde nell’indefinito? Mi fermo anche se sento che potrei "partire" di nuovo per riascoltare la mia nuova preghiera. (marialuigia)

Quel mondo magico a cui assistere senza entrare

La prima domanda che Carlo ci ha fatto quando ci siamo incontrati, è stata di riflettere su quale fosse la nostra idea di teatro.Bella domanda!
Ero bambina la prima volta che ho messo piede in un teatro, mi si è aperto un mondo a cui non sapevo dare una definizione , ma la sensazione era che in quel momento stavo vivendo assieme agli attori qualcosa di vero, che mi arrivava direttamente senza alcun filtro.
Ma tutto ciò allora mi sembrava qualcosa di irraggiungibile, un mondo magico a cui potevo assistere senza poterci entrare dentro.
Con gli anni questa distanza si è colmata , ed il mio approccio con il teatro è cambiato.
Le esperienze che ho avuto negli anni universitari mi hanno portato ad entrare in quel mondo, finalmente ero arrivata a casa. L’impatto era di nuovo cambiato , da studentessa che il teatro non solo lo fa , ma lo studia , ricercavo con la presunzione intellettuale le cose sempre più complicate, il teatro sperimentale , innesti con le nuove tecnologie , macchine sceniche di forte impatto visivo con rappresentazioni di mondi (interiori) a volta esasperati ed eccessivi. Sicuramente è un percorso obbligato e forse necessario per una generazione che ha portato con se gli strascichi dello sperimentalismo degli anni settanta. Ma era questo quello che veramente cercavo nel teatro? No cercavo qualcosa che si avvicinasse di più al mio vivere e sentire le cose, cercavo la semplicità , il dionisiaco, la leggerezza (non intesa in modo superficiale) di toccare quelle corde profonde dentro di noi senza sforzi eccessivi.(ivana)

Credo che la mia idea di teatro sia radicata in una forma di energia sempre in potenza che, “ bombardando” all’ improvviso o scaturendo pian piano, si fa atto “ contro” tutti in maniera sempre diversa e produce effetti differenti nelle idee di ciascuno, forse proprio per la sua MULTISFACCETTATURA.
La forza originaria dell’ evento teatrale risiede proprio in questo suo impatto di energia “ contro” gli altri che scandaglia le profondità dell’ irrazionale andando ben oltre la nostra visione positiva o negativa che sia: non è ragionamento e non è logica, è tutta emozione vissuta soggettivamente con singolarità. Credo che sia una sorta di energia sospesa tra reale e immaginario che ci trasporta nella nostra dimensiore interiore catturandoci; essa non si può vedere né osservare, la si può solo percepire, poiché “ L’ essenziale è invisibile agli occhi”.
Ecco di cosa è fatto il mio teatro!

Forse è il nostro modo di rapportarci che alcune volte non ci fa capire cosa stiamo cercando di dirci…

Nel momento in cui ho letto le prime righe della presentazione di questo forum, senza sapere ancora di cosa si trattava, non so perché mi è venuto in mente un gioco che si faceva in tv e che quasi tutti noi abbiammo fatto almeno una volta a casa nostra con gli amici: il “ Se fosse…”! Allora ho iniziato a fantasticare con il teatro e a dire:
