L’uso creativo e ludico-partecipativo dei social network
“Si è disposti a non associare l’idea di tecnologia solo alle macchine ma a pensarla come un’estensione del corpo e della mente?”
Parto da un termine, “performing media”, su cui si sono sviluppate, in diverse direzioni (dalla sperimentazione dei linguaggi creativi ai nuovi format
formativi) sia pratiche sia teorie spesso convogliate in corsi d’alta formazione.
Piste su cui s’è aperto il dibattito sui cosiddetti social network: un concetto che va decisamente oltre certe dinamiche di fidelizzazione di alcuni
portali internet per tracciare le vie di una nuova politica di comunicazione, finalmente intesa come un “comunicare con” e non solo un “comunicare
a”.
Non solo blog quindi ma moblog (il diario on line per il mobile, via SMS e MMS) e vlog come il TarantaVideoBlog http://www.performingmedia.org/vlog e la piattaforma http://www.glocalmap.to : mappa attiva per il social tagging concepita per le Olimpiadi Torino 2006, dove sarà attuato, per la prima volta, un
blog geo-sincronizzato.
Si tratta di contesti in cui media devono essere giocati, inventati, resi “performanti” sulla base dei propri bisogni e desideri, per non essere
giocati, controllati e indotti dagli automatismi del consumo degli standard parametrati più sull’offerta tecnologica che sulla propria domanda
psicologica di crescita.
In questa direzione si connota l’idea di Performing Media: strategia culturale che vuole interpretare le nuove tecnologie della comunicazione come
opportunità evolutiva.
Performing Media è progettazione di contenuti e tattiche relazionali per i sistemi multipiattaforme in cui convergono diversi media: telefonia mobile,
internet (Wi-Fi e ora WIMAX ), le trasmissioni satellitari indipendenti (vedi il caso Taxi Channel http://www.taxichannel.it ) ed incursioni nelle maglie larghe del broadcast radio-TV
Performing Media è un indirizzo attraverso cui coniugare azione culturale, comunicazione multimediale e quel marketing territoriale spesso inteso
come blando economicismo turistico, per interpretare le potenzialità di un sistema-Paese che sappia fare della Società dell’Informazione una società
della conoscenza basata sulla partecipazione attiva e consapevole del bene comune.

In merito a quanto emerso nell'ultima parte del dibattito, quando ormai il tempo a nostra disposizione era praticamente terminato, cioè che l'economia
spinge verso la crescita ma non verso lo sviluppo, qual'è il ruolo che gli accademici possono e dovrebbero avere per permettere quella trasformazione
della filosofia economica che tutti voi, docenti e non, avete auspicato?
In passato, e faccio riferimento in particolar modo all'italia, l'intellettuale (inteso come colui che aveva gli strumenti per cogliere i grandi
cambiamenti in atto nella società) dal dopoguerra in poi si è rifugiato nel mondo accademico, e ha lasciato ad altri, spesso meno competenti, il ruolo
di costruire attivamente la nuova società limitandosi ad essere una voce critica esterna e snob nei confronti dell'universo che criticava.(es.gestione
della tv pubblica)
Adesso le cose sono cambiate? il ruolo degli accademici può essere più concreto e determinante ai fini della svolta auspicata?
