Il Kids.expo è un progetto che nasce all’interno dell’Esposizione nazionale svizzera ( http://www.expo.02.ch ), una manifestazione che nella regione dei Tre Laghi ha allestito in varie località decine di installazioni tematiche
fortemente connotate dal principio dell’edutainment. Ambienti in cui il rapporto tra la dimensione ludica e quella informativa-educativa è
fortissima.
In particolare rileviamo il progetto Kids.expo a Yverdon-les-Bains, che si staglia come un mondo a parte, un’irrequieta galassia nell’universo
dell’infanzia.
Negli ultimi due anni sono state raccolte per Expo.02 le idee, i sogni , le paure, e le invenzioni di ragazzi svizzeri tra i 5 e i 13 anni. Da quel
materiale è sorto una sorta di parco giochi fantasmagorico e il sito che di fatto ricrea l’atmosfera ludica che vi si respira a piene mani.

Aprrendere attraverso la pratica penso che sia il modo migliore di assorbire i contenuti.Per assorbire intendo proprio la capacità di fare propri i
contenuti possederli pienamente.L'edutaintment penso sia una modalità educativa valida e alternativa alle fredde lezioni frontali scolastiche perchè
permette di sperimentare sulla propria pelle anche, se virtualmente , i contenuti didattici.Un po' come la pratica,l'esperienza in senso dewyano
.Interessante rilevare che esistono siti come http://www.officine.com in cui si propongono dei "pacchetti" multimediali indirizzati anche a adolescenti,il che è indice di un cambiamento delle
pratiche educative

Sono stanco di vedere confinate le ipotesi di videogame educativo nell'ambito della didattica: io credo che si possa rispondere positivamente alle
critiche mosse dall'opinione pubblica e dai Soloni della morale circa l'effetto diseducativo dei videogame iniziando a ragionare sulla possibilità
(ovviamente in ambito non commerciale) di produrre videogame nati da una metamorfosi culturale del loro background; mi spiego: perchè partire
dall'assunto che l'alieno e il diverso (quindi il negro, l'albanese, il gay o l'ebreo...) siano oggetti da annientare piuttosto che soggetti da
incontrare e con cui interagire pacificamente? o che non sia possibile sostituire alla sregolata corsa automobilistica dove tutto è concesso, pur di
raggiungere il traguardo, alla IDENTICA corsa per le vie della città di una autopompa che deve arrivare rapidamente nel luogo di un incendio ... ma
senza stendere lungo il percorso i passanti che attraversano la strada??? Chi ci sta a ragionare con me in proposito, e magari a sperimentare e
costruire con nuovi modelli culturali di videogame (IL TUTTO OVVIAMENTE NON ALLO SCOPO DI FAR SOLDI)? Scrivetemi!
